Stockholm, Day One (at long last)
Wow, I am soooooooooooo far behind on this blog! I still haven't posted about when I went to Stockholm two and a half weeks ago! I am finally sitting my booty at this desk and posting on my blog. SO:
I went to Stockholm with Lucas, Mohamed, Aya, Fabian, and Lucas' friend Caitlin, another Canadian. It is a GORGEOUS city! One of my favorites. It was really cold though. Here are some pictures of around the city our first day there:

These lion statues were everywhere! Are they not the cutest?
After the sun went down, I was complaining about the cold, so Lucas bundled me up into a scary monster. It was much warmer this way, though.
Isn't it beautiful? We did some museums that day, my favorite of which was the national gallery which had an exhibit on Swedish design featuring the cute little scrubbrushes everyone here uses to wash their dishes. We also took a boat tour around the city, which is built aon several islands. We stayed at a hostel in Gamla Stan, the old part of the city which is the most charming, I think. More photos in the next post.
